The Servant (1963)

BUREAU, the multi-purpose design studio by architect Daniel Zamarbide proposes a dramatic overhaul of this traditional dwelling. Not only is the alpine vernacular design upstaged by a striking modern and minimalist addition, the team behind the project came up with the narrative of creating a home for the fictional character Hugo Barrett from the 1963 film The Servant who was apparently present and overseeing the works from conception to delivery.
